DESCRIPTION

A 1970s octagon, and the dial is lovely. Champagne with a fine vertical linen finish, applied gold batons, and day-plus-date sharing the window at three. CARAVELLE · AUTOMATIC · WATER RESISTANT in that confident seventies typography. Caravelle was Bulova's second line — the same engineering culture at a friendlier price — and the octagonal case is pure period design, all flat bevels and hard angles.
