DESCRIPTION

Swatch, 1993, and a call for clarity resulted in the numerals just saying what they mean. TWELVE. FOUR. EIGHT. Stencil lettering wrapped around three blue subdials, translucent yellow case, dive-style rotating dark green bezel, and an orange chrono hand sweeping over the whole thing. This is Swatch at its most confident. The years when the design brief was apparently "sporty maximalist."

Collectors know this one as the Twelve Four Eight, and the name comes straight off the dial.
Running on a fresh battery with the chronograph fully functional: starts, stops, resets clean. It arrives on a new cobalt rubber strap, and the original yellow leather strap comes with it. Worth keeping, since yellow leather is what the case color was designed around.

This is a standard Chrono — 3 bar, about 30m, splash only.
Ships with: Watch on new cobalt rubber strap, original yellow leather strap. No box or papers.
