DESCRIPTION

"You put the beer in the coconut and throw the can away!"

Not every watch needs to be serious. This one knows precisely what it is.

The Coconut runs a lime-green dial under a sapphire crystal, with a fibrous, brushstroke texture that catches light like the inside of something just split open. Rose-gold applied indices and hands sit warm against it. The green bezel insert rides inside a gold-tone coin-edge ring, and a single red disc on the seconds hand sweeps past like a stray cherry. A Seiko NH35 automatic underneath, date at three, and an exhibition caseback so you can watch the rotor swing.

42 mm of stainless steel on a 22 mm Oyster-style bracelet. Hand-assembled by Swenson's.

On water resistance: this is a dive-styled watch, not a tested one. It hasn't been pressure tested, so we make no water-resistance claim and recommend treating it as a dry-wear watch. A pressure test at any watchmaker settles it in a few minutes if you want the certainty.
