DESCRIPTION

"I'll go ahead and make sure you get another copy of that memo."

Some watches announce themselves. This one just quietly does the job, every day, without needing to be asked twice.

The Memo is built around a Seiko NH36 automatic — the day-date workhorse, roughly 41 hours of reserve, hacking and hand-winding, the movement independent builders reach for when they want something that will still be running in twenty years. The 42 mm stainless case pairs brushed flanks with polished edges under a blue unidirectional dive bezel, behind a sapphire crystal. The sunray dial shifts as you move, near-navy in shadow and hard cobalt in daylight. Applied numerals at twelve, nine, and six. Lume where you need it. Day and date at three.

Turn it over and the caseback is open — the rotor spinning is the whole point.
Hand-assembled by Swenson's on a 20 mm Oyster-style bracelet.
On water resistance: this is a dive-styled watch, not a tested one. It hasn't been pressure tested, so we make no water-resistance claim and recommend treating it as a dry-wear watch. A pressure test at any watchmaker settles it in a few minutes if you want the certainty.
